CHARGING YOUR DEVICE USING WIFI? APPLE MIGHT HAVE PATENTED THAT!
Tired of of your iPhone or iPod device going out of battery?
Well, APPLE might have the solution to your problem.
Two days ago, APPLE issued a Patent at USPTO of some alleged wireless charging.
Wireless Charging
Wireless charging might seem very normal to you guys out there, but trust me this is something really different than what you think.
First spotted by Apple Insider, this patent was registered by APPLE at USPTO on 26th of July 2018.
A patent application by APPLE was published on Thursday for "Inductive charging between electronic devices" describes how two devices, such as a tablet and a smartphone, could recharge each other's batteries using their existing charge with the help of inductive coils.
For example, a drained iPhone battery could be recharged by a Macbook with a battery at capacity.
This Patent was however filed by APPLE back in March this year.
It has been approved just now.
This is not the first time, we have seen APPLE filing patents for Inductive Charging as one of the patents were also noticed back in October 2016.
The patent images show the presence of coils behind the track-pad in Macbook and under the screen in both iPad and iPhone models as shown below.

This also features an interesting idea that is, all these "coil-compatible" APPLE devices can theoretically be charged by just stacking them on each other while the most bottom one being on a Charging Outlet.

This way, there will be decrease in space it takes you.
Also it will help those having lost the extra APPLE-device compatible charging outlets as the bottom device will transfer charge up to the other device before ultimately charging itself up completely.
