THE 360° SECURITY GUIDE FOR YOUR MOBILE DEVICE.
Nowadays when security has become a major tension for most of us, several guides are circulating around the internet on how to protect your privacy.
But the most sad fact about these guides are that most of them will end you up downloading some stupid 'Safety Application' that in almost all cases are dangerous themselves by nature.
Conversely enough, you will find the correct information you need to stay safe online-We promise.
So let's start our list of what you should do to stay safe online.
1. Use TOR browser
People use this browser to (obviously) hide their location along with other identifying information online.
Mostly this is against the So called Government Spying.
Ironically enough, this TOR browser was released itself by US NAVY back in old days.
What it does is that it bounces your location and physical id, all across the world at the same time.
What it means is that it can show a hacker or a spyer that you literally are jumping from one location to another on the globe within mere seconds.
This will give you the purest form of Anonymity that you possibly can get without paying a buck.
You can download TOR browser for PC/MAC/LINUX here.
You can download Orbot (TOR System) for Android and iOS.
You can download Orfox (TOR browser) for Android and iOS.
NOTE: You need both Orbot and Orfox for the system to work on Android/IOS devices.
2. VPN
We DO-NOT endorse any specific VPN service | Credits: Express VPN |
And unless you are into some CIA-level stuff, using it won't be good for your internet speed.
For this purpose, we use a VPN.
Using a VPN, will change your physical location to somewhere else in the World.
This can be useful on Public WiFi networks such as those on offices, libraries and colleges.
3. Avira Antivirus
There is a reason behind this, Which is; this Antivirus is completely ad-free (or at-least I think it is).
Also that it scans all the apps you download both from store and off-store (3rd party apps).
Now, I know....I know, that most of the Antivirus apps have similar features even some might offer more than that, but it all comes down to personal experience and preference.
If you wanna choose a Antivirus, make sure you choose the one which is ad-free.
Plus if you have Samsung Phones, you need not to have any antivirus as the phones come with on-board security.
4. Firefox Focus
This app won't protect you from hackers or any such thing.
This is a sort of Incognito-only browser.
Just like the Incognito-mode in chrome doesn't save your History and Downloads, this app does the same.
The difference is that it has Anti-tracking feature right away on the Screen.
Plus if you are in a sort of hurry, you won't even have to close the tab (like you did in Chrome or Firefox), all you have to do then is to press the "Dust-bin" button on the bottom right of the screen appearing in magenta.
By doing that, your history will be erased completely without a trace left behind.
So you now got the idea of how it all goes, didn't you?
Congrats!
