A new WhatsApp update is on it's way with a ton of features!

Some of them are most awaited by users while some are put required by various government agencies.

Let's take a quick look at em'

Secure Link feature

Upcoming WhatsApp update will bring a long awaited feature to users.

In the Secure link feature, if someone send a 'suspicious' looking link, then WhatsApp will add a tag if something like, "Link might be suspicious".

This will highly decrease the chances of Malware and Virus spreading throught the social network.

Even if the user tries to open the link, another confirmation box will appear, saying the link is suspicious and hence should be proceded to.

Lesser Spam and Fake News

Facebook is already trying it's best to curb the virus of Spam and fake news spreading through the internet.

An upcoming update might have much more robust preventive measures to curb spam.

Fake News is another big problem spreading through WhatsApp.

From a recent News report, 17 deaths in last 3-5 months have been accredited to fake News spreading through WhatsApp in India alone.

This is a rather serious matter and hence should be taken seriously by the Developers.

Since then, News has been spreading all over internet about an upcoming update to patch this loophole up to some extent.

Although, this can not be completely curbed but can still be lessened to an extent.

According to credible sources, Google is building a 'separate' search engine tailored specifically for China. This Project, according to a whistle-blower is code named "DragonFly". But why?
