Google is developing a new Operating System from quite sometime now.

But the chances are you might have never heard about it before.

And No, it isn't any advance version of Android or Chrome OS but is a completely new OS which doesn't have much similarities with both the former OS.

But this time, google might be planning to make a very significant impact on the OS industry as some leaks suggest that this OS will be Compatible form your smartwatch to your smart car to your modern day PC!

So without further Ado, let's check it out!

The Fuchsia OS

Yep, that's the name of the OS google is developing (though I don't know how to pronounce it!).

But to know how it started, we have to go back to August 2016, when it's source files emerged somehow on GitHub.

After that moment forth, this new OS became a part of the whole software community and I personally have seen it emerge like a thousand times on xda developers page!

But how is it different from Android or Chrome OS?

Android and Chrome OS are written on Linux Kernels (they, then TECHNICALLY are Linux based OS) but this new Fuchsia OS is written on a 'Zircon' Kernel (also known as Magenta kernel).

In simple words, where Android and Chrome OS were based on linux, this is based on a different kernel (you can say a 'Base').

But how can it replace Android?

Although android is a very popular OS and majority of Mobile devices run on android.

But the fact is that sometimes, you need to start things afresh.

It however, doesn't mean that android is some sort of mistake by google but the chances are that this OS might be a new goto for upcoming gadgets as more and more different types of devices are now being made 'smart' and are running on android or ios.

It might be possible too that, Google wants to expand it's presence in the digital industry by a big step (which I don't think is necessarily needed).

And also the developer of these source files on GitHub said that this new OS 'is not a dumping ground for old and dead things'.

This statement can be translated into many different ones, but I can't provide a wrong one, so the translation is left for the reader.

Importantly, this OS got a User Interface in May, 2017.

So now it is free form it's geeky command-line interface.

Do you want to try it?

I have an APK (for android devices) of the user interface of Fuchsia OS v-1.0 (Named-- Armadillo)
Download it here.

(it's virus and malware free and can be installed on any android 5.0+ device)

Note: Please know that I have NOT designed or made it. I have downloaded it from another site (link here).

And it is still in development (it is not a launcher either)

So guys this was all for now.

I hope you guys have found it useful!
